Vision Zero

The story is a rather unfortunate situation where our beloved New Yorkers are struck by moving vehicles (off-screen). Images of pedestrians hurled into an empty space are seen where time suddenly slows down—a long solitary moment of shock, fear and uncertainty. The picture of this accident is impactful, then again, the potentially fatal episode takes a turn with words of wisdom popping on screen, “THINGS HAPPEN FAST AT INTERSECTIONS. DRIVERS, SLOW DOWN.” Yes, as the old adage says, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” but a few words here help us drive the story home. This is the new ad campaign, promoting the importance of safety and precaution at NYC intersections, keeping focus on NYC DOT’S vision zero initiative.
